Nordic Storm made a significant impact at the 2026 EFA Awards, with five of the league’s 13 individual awards going to players from the Scandinavian team.
The three biggest individual player awards all went to Nordic Storm. Quarterback Jadrian Clark was named Most Valuable Player, Brendan Beaulieu was named Offensive Player of the Year, while Luke Glenna received the Defensive Player of the Year award.
Victor Stoffel was also named Offensive Lineman of the Year, while Glen Toonga received the Comeback Player of the Year award.
Five awards that, in different ways, reflect the quality and depth that have defined Nordic Storm throughout the 2026 season.
Jadrian Clark Became the EFA’s First MVP
Jadrian Clark made history as the first player to be named Most Valuable Player in the European Football Alliance.
The Nordic Storm quarterback led one of the strongest offenses in the league and delivered numbers throughout the regular season that underline his importance to the team.
Clark finished the regular season with 3,726 passing yards and an impressive 47 touchdowns against just seven interceptions. He completed 71.1 percent of his passes and finished with a quarterback rating of 136.3.
As quarterback, Clark has been the central figure in a Nordic Storm offense with a wide range of offensive weapons, taking responsibility week after week for directing the unit.
His outstanding season was rewarded with the EFA’s biggest individual honor.
Brendan Beaulieu Named Offensive Player of the Year
One of Jadrian Clark’s most important connections throughout the season was also honored.
Brendan “Bo” Beaulieu was named Offensive Player of the Year after a season in which the wide receiver established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the EFA.
Beaulieu finished the regular season with 91 receptions for 1,556 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging 17.1 yards per reception.
Throughout the season, Beaulieu became a crucial part of Nordic Storm’s offensive production. He consistently delivered explosive plays while showing the reliability that made him a constant challenge for opposing defenses.
Luke Glenna Named Defensive Player of the Year
Nordic Storm did not only claim the biggest offensive awards.
Luke Glenna was named Defensive Player of the Year after a season in which the defensive back repeatedly made his presence felt.
Glenna recorded 68 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack. He also added two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three interceptions.
The numbers highlight his versatility. Glenna has been both a strong tackler and a player capable of creating turnovers and delivering game-changing defensive plays.
Having both the Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year at Nordic Storm also underlines the quality on both sides of the ball that has been such an important part of the team’s season.
Victor Stoffel Honored as the League’s Best Offensive Lineman
Offensive linemen rarely receive the same attention as the players throwing, catching or carrying the football. But their work is fundamental to the success of any offense.
At the EFA Awards, Victor Stoffel’s contribution was recognized as the Nordic Storm player was named Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Throughout the season, Stoffel has been a central part of an offensive line that has helped give Jadrian Clark time in the passing game while creating opportunities for Nordic Storm’s running backs on the ground.
The award is therefore also recognition of the work that may not always appear prominently on the stat sheet, but has played a major role in Nordic Storm’s offensive success.
Glen Toonga Delivered the Comeback of the Year
Nordic Storm’s fifth award went to Glen Toonga, who was named Comeback Player of the Year.
After returning to the field, the running back delivered a season that once again demonstrated why he has been one of the standout names in European American football for several years.
Toonga carried the ball 193 times for 1,061 yards and 11 touchdowns. Averaging 5.5 yards per carry, he also surpassed the prestigious 1,000-yard rushing mark.
His return gave Nordic Storm another major offensive weapon and helped create the balance between the passing and running game that opposing defenses had to deal with throughout the season.
Five Awards for Nordic Storm
With five winners, Nordic Storm claimed more individual awards than any other team at the 2026 EFA Awards.
In particular, winning the three major honors of MVP, Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year tells the story of a season in which Nordic Storm featured outstanding performers on both sides of the ball.
But the awards are also recognition that extends beyond the five players whose names appear on the trophies.
American football is, by its very nature, a team sport, where individual performances are created through the work of teammates, coaches and the staff working around the team every week.
For Nordic Storm, the EFA Awards therefore represent another significant recognition of the season delivered by the entire team and organization.
